Founders Circle

Enjoy a Rewarding Experience

Founders Circle members became part of Hays County Friends of the Night Sky as significant supporters early on. They continue to stand up for the natural light sky. They support the use of smarter lighting. They take pride in contributing to an organization that is making Hays County a safer, healthier and more desirable place to live.

A Unique Opportunity to Reach for the Stars

A small group of concerned citizens got together in spring, 2019 with the shared goal to protect the night sky in Hays County. That first meeting resulted in more brainstorming sessions and ultimately led to the decision to form the Hays County Friends of the Night Sky. Like all volunteer efforts, it was a labor of love that took time. Even with an organizational structure and presence in place, there was plenty more to do.

That’s why the Founders Circle was created.

The Founders Circle is a special membership level that was offered for a limited time to kick-start the organization. It brought together community members who had the desire to be recognized for helping us create something that didn’t previously exist – and to shape it into a successful, resourceful organization. From being actively engaged in different aspects of our mission, to being an advocate who encourages us to move ahead, the founders stepped up to participate. They are committed members with a vision to protect the night sky and help us become a respected voice for light pollution issues and education in Hays County.

We Celebrate and thank our Founders Circle Members.

Extra special thanks to each of the following for donating prizes to add more fun and excitement to our Founders Circle Membership Drive. Click on each name to visit their website:
